The State Records Office provides archival and records management services to all State and local government agencies in Western Australia. To assist agencies in the proper creation, management and disposal of State records the State Records Office provides training in various facets of recordkeeping.
Due to extensive commitments, the State Records Office is currently unable to offer a training program at this time, however training requests for groups of 10 or more will be considered. Please write to the State Archivist and Executive Director at the address below, with details of your training request.

Alexander Library Building
Perth Cultural Centre
Perth WA 6000
A number of private organisations also provide training in recordkeeping. For further information, please contact the State Information Management Services Team on (08) 9427 3661 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
The State Records Office recognises that due to the immense size of this State, the cost involved for regional organisations to send individual officers to Perth for training may be prohibitive. The State Records Office will endeavour to send staff to regional centres to present training courses upon request.
Customised training can also be arranged for metropolitan government agencies who wish to arrange one or more tailored training sessions specifically for their staff.
A copy of the Customised Training Guidelines can be found on our Customised Training Guidelines page.
For further information on training courses offered by the State Records Office please contact the State Information Management Services Team by telephone on (08) 9427 3661, by fax on (08) 9427 3638, or via email at email@example.com.
