What is podcasting?

Wikipedia defines podcasting as "method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio programs or music videos, over the Internet using either the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers."   The State Records Office uses podcasting to make available MP3 audio of signature events and seminars that are likely to be of interest to the WA community and State Records Office visitors.
