Notice to State and local government organisations - Paper Selection for Government Organisations

The State Records Office has issued a circular to all State and local government organisations regarding the use of recycled paper.  The SRO supports two categories of paper for documents that are to be managed in corporate information systems throughout government:


Archival or Permanent Paper (identified by a specific watermark); and

Good Quality Paper (at least 80gsm with no recycled content).
