Lunchtime Seminar for NAIDOC Week

Topic:  ‘The Story of Jaal’
 
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played a major role in revealing Indigenous stories and perspectives on history, based on the use and interpretation of archives. One of these is Dr Robin Barrington a Badimia Yamatji woman and who will speak about Jaal, a lawman from the Murchison region, who lived over 100 years ago.
 

Time and venue: 12.30 - 1.30pm in the South West Room, next to the SRO's Search Room.
