Reference Queries

The State Records Office is able to offer a limited reference query service to clients who live in regional areas, interstate or overseas and are thus unable to attend the Search Room in person. Queries may be submitted via telephone, post, or e-mail.

The State Records Office can only undertake straightforward reference queries. For protracted queries, we suggest liaising with an independant researcher. All queries should be marked for the attention of the Archives Research Officer. Please include a name and telephone number so staff can contact you if necessary.
