Microforms Register
The Microforms Register is a tool created by the State Records Office for determining whether specific consignments of records - previously identified by clients through the Search Room finding aids - are available for use in microform.
The register is arranged sequentially by Accession/Consignment number and provides information such as format type, approximate date range, item numbers included on microform, and name of agency and description of records, where identified.

PLEASE NOTE: Not all consignments listed within the Microforms Register are available to clients in the Microform Area. Some consignments will need to be retrieved from storage for clients, as per the usual retrieval processes. The register also contains occasional references to consignments subject to restricted access periods, where only part of the consignment may be available on open access in the Microform Area.
