The State Records Office offers a digital scanning service for clients wishing to obtain quality copies of maps and plans.
To obtain a scanned image, clients must complete an Archive Digitisation Request Form identifying the items they wish to have digitally scanned.
Scanned images are made available on Compact Disc.
The cost for scanning maps or plans is $14.25 per image (includes cost of CD).
Approximately 10 working days should be allowed for the processing and scanning of the images. For further information regarding the scanning service contact the State Records Office Enquiry Desk staff either by telephone on (08) 9427 3600, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or in person.
Physical Condition of the Item
In order to ensure the safety of the materials to be scanned, the physical condition of all items must be considered before permission is given. Scanning will not be permitted if there is a risk that it may damage the records.
